Troubleshooting Golf Cart Engine | Power House Golf
Before you begin, troubleshooting, check for all the obvious problems that can happen to the golf engine. The most relevant problems that happen are also some of the cheapest of problems. Usually when the engine has a problem, we have a tendency to assume something drastic rather than small. So you must begin with the checking of the least expensive parts and then move to the costly ones.
Ensure that all the battery connections are intact. If you find any corrosion, clean it. Check battery terminals and clean them regularly to prevent any build-up.
Check the voltage switch on the solenoid using a voltmeter. Solenoid is an insulated wire that establishes magnetic field by passing electric current. If there is voltage on the voltmeter but the solenoid doesn’t produce a click sound that is an indication of a problem.
